There are a lot of things you need covers for. Let's take CD and DVD covers, for example. You certainly need to have a cover on them, not only to make the case look more interesting, but also to make an idea about what's on the disc. In both ways, a cover can make your discs more appealing and simplifies finding a certain song or software, especially when you are dealing with large disc collections. But to make this happen, you need a program that can create covers of the right size. Disc covers come in many shapes and sizes and it's critical to have a cover that will fit perfectly. You could use Cover Professional, a software that can create covers for various types of covers, but doesn't limit to CDs and DVDs.

The installation process of Cover Professional is not a problem and takes little time to complete. It supports almost any version of the Windows operating system, including XP and Windows 7. Furthermore, it takes up about 10 MB of hard disk space, which is not much considering the program's functions.

The interface of Cover Professional is basic and features some graphical buttons. It's practically split into several sections, the left one featuring the type of project, which can be a CD, DVD, book cover and so on, and the right one containing a preview of the cover. After selecting the type of project, all the user has to to is select the desired images to be placed on the cover and that's it. Unfortunately, text cannot be added to the covers.

After he has finished editing the cover, the user just has to click on the render button. A window will pop out, showing how the cover will look on an actual disc. The user can resize it and adjust the paper margins. After doing this, he can save the cover in one of the many image formats available.

Pros

It features several cover projects for various types of objects, like CD and DVD discs, books and so on. Besides that, the interface is simple to use and allows anyone to quickly create covers. Furthermore, finished covers can be saved in one of the many image formats available.

Cons

The program doesn't allow adding text to the covers. Cover Professional is a professional, yet simple software that allows anyone to create great covers for various objects.
